Two athletes can be entered per event for regionals and all three relays are swum (1 team per relay).

Is Your Junior Year Athlete Interested In Being a Team Captain Next Year?
Current juniors who are interested in being a captain next year need to write Emily a letter including ideas about how he/she will contribute to the team and be a team leader, new ideas he/she would like to see implemented, and how he/she can be a role model. These letters are due to Emily by 2/19/16.

Practice:

We do have swim and dive practice this week on Tuesday morning the 2nd. There is no county dive practice on Wednesday the 3rd and no swim or dive practice on Thursday the 4th due to metros.
Our last team practice is Tuesday February 9th in the morning. The last county dive practice is Wednesday February 10th. All members of the team are welcome to continue practicing even if not participating in the remaining meets.

Scrapbooks for Seniors:
We had a great group here on Sunday and the books that were started are looking really beautiful, but they aren’t done yet! Also, there are 6 books that haven’t been started yet. Please join us again this Sunday to participate. No experience necessary. It is a fun time…snacks provided… all supplies provided. Come and be creative! The workshops will continue to be held at the Aitken House 13502 Keating St Rockville, MD 20853 from 1-5 pm on Sun. Feb 7, and (if needed) Sun. Feb. 14. We have 16 scrapbooks to complete this year!! We will need lots of help.

If You Have a Senior…We Need Baby Photos:
Michael always does a wonderful job with the slide show each year, and he enjoys including a song dedicated to those graduating from the team. If you have a senior, please send Michael 4-6 photographs of your child as baby/younger kid. Especially if you have swim/dive shots! These may be emailed to him in a file: mwaitken@hotmail.com or you can provide “real photos” and they will be returned to you unharmed.

Annual Swim and Dive Banquet :
I have once again attached the flier about the banquet. Please bring payment to me at Metros/Regionals or send it to me via my daughters Rebecca (11th) and Abby (9th), or snail mail: 13502 Keating St. Rockville, MD 20853. I have also attached the list of reservations I have thus far (“2016 Banquet” document) …please check it if you gave me an envelope.

Whew!!! I think that’s all. Go Blazers! Good Luck In Metros!!
